Following the recent update from the government announcing the easing of COVID-19 restrictions from July 19, 2021, we are delighted to welcome visitors back to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
To help manage the safety of our staff and visitors, we are keeping some of COVID safety measures in place including our pre-visit booking slots, reduced capacity and increased cleaning schedules.
We also strongly encourage visitors to our sites to continue to follow social distancing practices, to wear masks when inside our ships and buildings and register on the track and trace system using the NHS app; although this will not be enforced.
Some areas of our attractions (e.g. HMS Alliance) have particularly confined spaces and therefore we have taken the decision to continue to enforce mask wearing in those areas. Visitors who are medically unable to wear a mask or do not wish to wear one will be politely asked to refrain from visiting those spaces. We appreciate your understanding in those circumstances.
Like many other attractions, a few members of our team being have been asked to self-isolate. As such visitors to our sites may experience some delays or temporary closures. We apologise in advance for any delays you may experience and ask you to be patient with us as we adjust to the latest set of changes.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
For unredeemed ticket, or ticket extension information, visiting our FAQ page is the best place to be kept up to date on the latest information as we have it.
If you want to get in touch or have an enquiry, our staff are expecting a high volume of calls and so emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org is the best way to get in touch.
We can't wait to welcome you back!
