The best-selling Horrible Histories series, created by Terry Deary and illustrator Martin Brown, takes buccaneers of all ages on an epic adventure across the seven seas with hands-on displays and interactive exhibits.

Set sail for adventure as our Dockyard Alive team bring to life moments from pirate history. Our team will take you on a whimisical tour of the dockyard as you meet the infamous Blackbeard and his motily crew.
See how far they've come on their journey on the seven seas as you take on a trail like no other in episode 1.

Horrible Histories® Pirates: The Exhibition opens on Saturday 6 April from 10am at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. The exhibition has been developed by the Australian National Maritime Museum in Sydney in association with Scholastic UK.
