Just like us, many of you were overjoyed by our exciting announcement and couldn’t wait to get back on board. As you may know all of our tickets now have to be booked online as this helps us manage capacities and adhere to social distancing measures. Unfortunately this led to a high demand for online bookings and we experienced some technical issues with our website. As a result we had to make the difficult decision to take our tickets off sale which is why so many of you experienced difficulties.
We are just as disappointed as you are about this. But rest assured, it’s all hands on deck and we are working away behind the scenes in order to get our website back up and running.
Once everything is ship shape again, we will spread the word via our website and social media channels stating that tickets are now available to purchase, so keep an eye out for this.
In the meantime if you want to keep up to date with all the latest announcements you can join our mailing list.
As well as news of our website being fixed we will also have more exciting announcements to share with you soon. This includes the launch of our VJ Day commemorations in which we will have a variety of free online events you can attend. More information about this will be shared on our social media accounts at the start of next week, so make sure to check back soon!
We are looking forward to reopening our sites and can’t wait to welcome you back in order to share the history on Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. See you soon!
