Location: Royal Navy Submarine Museum

Join us at the Royal Navy Submarine Museum throughout June to find out about the crucial role the X- class Submarines played in D Day. The D-Day landings could have gone catastrophically wrong if it weren’t for these small craft who prepared the way for the thousands of vessels and servicemen who were to approach the Normandy beaches. A short presentation will take place every Wednesday in June at 1pm next to our very own midget submarine X-24.

Entry is free with a valid attraction ticket or National Membership. Booking is not required.
