Meet festival favourite Father Christmas as you visit his glorious grotto decorated in seasonal fayre and evergreen garlands. One by one, meet his friendly elf assistant as you move on through to his workshop.
The court welcomes Europe's madcap jester, Peterkin who will start proceedings with hilarity galore. Bringing party tricks and games to the main stage, see how this legendary character brings traditional comedy from times gone by to brighten up your day.

From hand crafted leather bags to fragrant festive wreaths, you'll be inspired by the delightfully Christmas feeling that comes with browsing 120 stalls selling food, drink and everything in between.
For the final day, head into the warmth of HMS Warrior and discover The Neptune Girls and Madame Loella as she introduces you to a caberet show like no other. Pick up a mulled wine, a traditional festive snack and relax as you watch this incredible show.

Enjoy The Victorian Christmas Festival at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard for a day out at Hampshire's best Christmas event for you and your family. We offer adult, child, concession and family festival tickets - perfect for making your day out the most festive yet.
There are three dates to choose from: Friday 29 November, Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December. A seperate event ticket is required to access the event. Full Navy Tickets or Any 1, Any 2 or Any 3 attraction tickets cannot be used.

If you have purchased a voucher from a third party website, please read their terms and conditions for redeeming it. We are unable to redeem third party tickets so please contact the ticket supplier for further details.
All attractions located in Portsmouth will be open during the event. This includes the Mary Rose Museum during the Victorian Christmas Festival only. The only attraction that will not be open is Explosion Museum in Gosport alongside our waterbus service. If you would like to visit the Royal Navy Submarine Museum in Gosport, please seek alternative transport to the museum.
Wrap up warm! Our popular harbour tour will be running throughout the Victorian Christmas Festival subject to weather and availability. The harbour tour is done on a first come first served basis - so make sure you plan your visit to the event accordingly to make the most of this popular attraction.
While our waterbus runs a reduced timetable during the winter months, we will not be running the service during the event. This is partly due to Explosion Museum being closed from 29 November - 1 December. The Royal Navy Submarine Museum will be open during this time however the waterbus service will not be running. To visit, please seek alternative transport to the submarine museum. Gosport Ferry runs frequent services from Portsmouth Hard and Gosport.
We know how much our visitors enjoy visiting our attractions in Portsmouth. To ensure we can provide visitors to the event with the best possible experience, Explosion Museum will be closed during the event. The Royal Navy Submarine Museum will remain open throughout however no waterbus service will be operating between Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and Gosport. Please seek alternative transport if you wish to visit the submarine museum.
As we're a Royal Navy base, we do not allow dogs on-site except assistance dogs.
