We are delighted to welcome visitors to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and to our Gosport Sites, however due to uncertainty around changing COVID regulations and the potential impact of sickness within our teams; Portsmouth Historic Dockyard may be required to adjust opening hours or close sites at short notice. Whilst all efforts will be made to avoid this and to contact ticket holders ahead of visits we do ask you to check our Facebook and Twitter accounts for details of closures. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.
Due to current restrictions, we ask that all visitors aged 11 years or older, unless medically exempt, wear a face covering while visiting our attractions. Some indoor or enclosed areas may remain closed or only permit limited visitors at any one time. You can check out exactly what's available on each of the attraction pages on this website.
Your health and safety remains our top priority and, like before, we have additional hygiene and safety measures in place through Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and our Gosport sites, including enhanced cleaning, sanitisation stations, one-way systems and social distancing markers.
To allow for social distancing, we are still reducing the number of visitors we welcome each day, therefore pre-booking is advised however walk up visitors will be accommodated. The timeslot portal that allows you to book your return visit is available online - so if you already have tickets, make sure you use your returner ID (sent to you via email) to book your time slot in advance.
We will be encouraging all those who visit to check in using the QR code as part of NHS Test and Trace at entry and also at key points across our sites. If you do not have access to the app, we may ask you to use our digital form at the point of entry to input your details.
