POPULAR TV PRESENTER TO ATTEND SIGNING AT A VICTORIAN FESTIVAL OF CHRISTMAS
Paul Martin, the well known and popular presenter of TV’s “Flog It” will be attending Portsmouth Historic Dockyard’s A Victorian Festival of Christmas for a signing of his new book “Paul Martin’s Britain” on Saturday December 1st at 11.00am.
The signing will take place during the Christmas Festival in the Historic Dockyard’s Storehouse No 9, a Georgian storehouse which is to play host to a new venture, Antiques Storehouse which is due to open early 2008. Paul Martin ran his own successful antiques business for several years and has now been presenting “Flog It” for over five years, making over 70 shows per year.
His book “Paul Martin’s Britain” is an easy-to-read account of the key places and people that shaped Britain’s heritage and anecdotes about his life before and with “Flog It.” A Victorian Festival of Christmas uses the backdrop of the Historic Dockyard, its historic ships, visitor attractions and museums as inspiration to present an assortment of Victorian-based entertainment, snow-covered street, European-inspired shopping village and a cast of colourful characters bringing Victorian scenes to life. It takes place over 3 days – Friday 30th November to Sunday 2nd December - and is attended by some 25,000
