Historic Dockyard joins Spinnaker Tower in joint ticket deal
News release issued: 5th November 2007Visitors are set to benefit from 20% discount on a joint ticket to two of the City’s top attractions, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and Spinnaker Tower, for a limited period.
The newest addition to Portsmouth’s landscape, the Spinnaker Tower soars to a height of 170 metres and offers three viewing platforms with the most exciting views across the south coast, particularly the Historic Dockyard – one of the most historic sights in Portsmouth, with over 800 years of maritime history on offer.
‘As two of the major draws to the city, we are working well together and it makes sense to offer local residents both convenience and value for money. A joint ticket specifically for the group market has been available since 2005 and has proved very successful, accounting for 8% of our group market, so we are pleased to now open it up to individuals.’ says Jacquie Shaw, spokeswoman for Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
The joint offer is available until 20th March 2008 and therefore perfect for Christmas holidays and spring half term.* It is valid for 3 months from the date of purchase and valid for entry to Spinnaker Tower, HMS Victory, Mary Rose, HMS Warrior, Royal Naval Museum, Action Stations and a Harbour Tour. Tickets are priced at £18 for adults, £15.50 for seniors and £13.50 for children.
