The great love affair of Lord Nelson and Emma Hamilton will be celebrated this Valentine’s Day. During this one-off opportunity, you will get the chance to view the betrothal ring given to Emma by Lord Nelson before leaving to fight at the Battle of Trafalgar.

As part of planned improvements between Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour Station, Network Rail are installing a brand new railway bridge on the Portsmouth main line. The work is planned between Monday 12 February to Friday 16 February. Portsmouth Harbour Station will re-open on Saturday 17 February.
During this time buses will replace all trains between Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour. Whilst travelling by train is still possible, Portsmouth Park and Ride provides an affordable route to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. The bus arrives directly at Portsmouth Hard Interchange.
