• Exciting new workshops for science and history in a new teaching space.
• New resources for teachers and pupils.
• New exhibits on show for the first time including the skeleton of the ship’s dog.
• A display showing the plans for the new museum.
Special offer from September 2009!
Book a second Mary Rose workshop for your class and receive a 50% discount on the price of that activity.
HMS Victory Guided Tours
During our off-peak season guided tours of HMS Victory are available. Led by one of the ship’s guides your class will learn about life on board ship, The Battle of Trafalgar and Lord Nelson. Tours are extremely popular so please book early to avoid disappointment. Combine your tour with a HMS Victory workshop to help develop themes further. Due to space restrictions some workshops may take place at the Royal Naval Museum opposite the ship. You will be advised if this is the case at the time of booking.
Throughout the peak season the ship will offer free flow visits which are self-guided. Spend longer on board and focus on areas of particular interest to your pupils. Guides are on hand to answer any questions and teacher’s guides and activity sheets are available free of charge to assist you. These can be downloaded from www.hms-victory.com. Please contact us on 023 9283 9766 for seasonal dates.
