Action Stations requires a Weekend Casual Visitor Host.
Action Stations is a visitor attraction within Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and provides visitors with the opportunity to experience life in a modern Royal Navy warship through large simulators and exhibits. The attraction boasts an operations room, Laser Weapons Island, 19 Seat Motion Simulator, Rotating and vertical Climbing wall as well as a Merlin Helicopter simulator. On the first floor there is a Science and Technology gallery as well as a 275 cinema.
As part of the Visitor Host team you will operate the simulators and exhibits in a safe manner for the enjoyment of our many visitors. The successful candidate will specifically need to be an outgoing, friendly team player that displays good communication skills and once trained the ability to lead birthday parties dressed as a mad professor. The position would ideally suit a drama student or someone with an outgoing personality. In addition applicants should ideally be 18 years of age as for Health & Safety reasons Hosts must be over 18 to operate our Climbing Tower.
