The National Museum of the Royal Navy, based in Portsmouth, is seeking some exceptional people to join our team - and help us enhance our status as a truly world class museum. We tell the story of all aspects of the fighting service that has shaped global history for centuries – and that continues to be an elite, vital, armed service today.

You will demonstrate a consistent, proven record. You will have a minimum of a good first degree, a positive demeanour and a commitment to outputs of the highest quality. You will also have a passion to tell the story of some of the bravest and most brilliant men and women, from diverse backgrounds, ever to go to sea.

We offer a generous package of a starting salary of £24,000* (possibly more for the strongest candidates), a valuable 9% non contributory pension (after qualifying period), flexible working arrangements – and a positive, supportive working environment.

Both roles are offered as full time, however, applications are welcome from candidates who wish to work part time.

*High achieving recent graduates, who possess considerable ability but yet lack the experience required for these posts are encouraged to contact Phillip to discuss one-year salaried (£10,000) internships that will be based In the Development Department.
