The National Museum of the Royal Navy (NMRN) is recruiting for a Curator to join the Exhibitions & Collections team within the Heritage Directorate.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with the internationally significant collection held by the National Museum of the Royal Navy. We are looking for a dynamic, adaptable and motivated team member to help care for our wonderfully varied collections which range from rich documentary archives, extensive photographic holdings to large figureheads and everything in between. This individual will also assist in providing quality public access to the long history of the Royal Navy represented in the collection through new and innovative methods.

Applicants must have experience of working with collections in the Heritage sector and a broad understanding of industry standards, supported by a relevant degree or qualification. They will be expected to demonstrate their experience of working with volunteers and directing them to appropriate tasks. Experience of or involvement in creation and delivery of interpretation is desirable.
Applications should be good communicators with the ability to engage with stakeholders and various members of the public, as well as, have the ability to work confidently under own initiative on a range of tasks simultaneously within a busy working environment.
