Exciting opportunities for exceptional people…could this be you?
Do you enjoy meeting new people and working in a team?
Would you love to welcome visitors to the award-winning Mary Rose Museum?
Are you keen to learn?

We are recruiting a number of new museum volunteers to help us deliver consistently excellent customer service and interpretation to all our visitors in a friendly and varied team. As part of being a volunteer at the Mary Rose, we will ensure you receive fully training, be invited to monthly meetings, receive regular communication and updates, as well as being invited to social occasions.

We need people to deliver an exceptional world class experience in a combination of the following:

Welcome and Orientation – in the visitor reception and the museum
Retail – assisting in our busy museum shop
Galleries – telling the story of the Mary Rose, her crew and artefacts
Events – enhancing the exceptional events we deliver
Education – helping to deliver workshops to primary and secondary pupils
Buggy driving – running a shuttle service from Victory Gate to the museum to assist visitors who may find the walk a little far
