'Conferences at Action Stations'

Action Stations 275 seat state of the art auditorium has a Digital projection system for Power Point and DVD operation complete with surround sound, radio microphones and lectern.

A dedicated conference technician for all your AV needs is provided as part of the package, which makes for a highly professional service for any meeting, conference or presentation. A large space is available adjacent to
the auditorium which can be used for registration and product and promotional displays. This area is our science and technology gallery, Inter Action so guests will be able to have fun and fully appreciate the space.

A recent client said, "The conference venue and facilities are fantastic with ample car parking and an on site attraction there is nothing like it throughout Southern England. The venue was much more interesting than a bland hotel".

Within the same building a conference room is available for smaller meetings for between 10 and 100 guests. This room has natural light and a view of Portsmouth Naval Base. This is a very versatile space that can be arranged cabaret or theatre style and can be fitted with screen, multi media
projector, lap top and flip charts.

Full catering facilities are available.

Delegates are given a brief explanation as to how to build a rocket, a budget with which to buy the components and 25 minutes to build it. See who can use the budget the best and achieve the greatest distance.

Or our GPS Trail, leadership skill and communication will help teams hunt for points around the Historic Dockyard and plot your bearings, will you complete the course successfully and be the first team back to base!

HMS Warrior 1860 is a unique wedding venue and undoubtedly one of the most sought after locations on the South Coast. This magnificent and unusual setting offers a spectacular backdrop for photography of your special day.

Two areas of Warrior have a licence to hold weddings and civil partnership ceremonies. The Captains Cabin is ideal for smaller events, seating up to 25 people, while the Officers Half Deck can accommodate up to 100 guests.

Several areas of the ship are then available to hold your reception. Formal dinners from 20 up to 288 guests can be catered for while up to 600 guests can be accommodated with a more casual stand up buffet.

Rowans Hospice Moonlit Memories Walk

Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is pleased to support the Rowans Hospice again in their Moonlit Memories walk 2012.

The Moonlit Memories walk is an exciting and challenging moonlit walk in aid of the Rowans Hospice across either a 12 mile, or for the first time this year a new 5 mile route. With the fifth anniversary walk starting at 11pm on Saturday 16 June from Castle Field, Southsea, and both routes taking in the spectacular sights of the Spinnaker Tower and HMS Victory illuminated for the night, the atmosphere on the walk is going to be electric. And of course, whether you choose the longer or shorter route, it will still include a visit to Portsmouth Cathedral for those who wish to light a candle in memory of someone who has died.
Organisers are hoping to encourage more people to take part in this memorable event and raise money for The Rowans Hospice which supports people with life limiting illnesses and their carers and families living in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire.
