Family Fun at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard this February Half Term

What's On in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard for families this half term?

It's almost time for February fun! Jump on board at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard for lots of great family activities.

We've got lots of events for kids, from toddlers to teens, throughout the half term holidays and beyond.

Many of our events are free with a valid ticket.

There are so many things to do

Totally nuts about Tudors? Loopy about Lego? Cunningly crafty with scrapheap challenges? Then you're in for a treat with our great days out and family activities this February half term.

Be aaarh-mazed by our pirate quiz and wear out the kids (of all ages!) on our Ninja Force assault course. Then pop over to Explosion Museum and follow the Hunt the Mice trail.

Great days out all-year round for a fraction of the price.

Our all-attraction ticket takes the guesswork out of planning the perfect day out. Valid all year round* it includes unlimited entry to all attractions, ships and museums all year-round.

You'll almost feel like you're stepping on board

We think you'll love a half term trip to the Mary Rose, Henry VIII's first love, which for the first time ever provides unrestricted views of the ship and life-sized projections of the crew that really bring the ship to life. It's just breathtaking.

You can also download the new Mary Rose app from the App Store or Google Play to get more from your visit.

Brand new audio guide on HMS Victory

Take the new visitor's route on board the world's most famous warship, HMS Victory and be one of the first to try our brand new audio guide.

Experience the drama of the battle of Trafalgar, told by the crew, deck-by-deck, hour by hour, when the ship sets sail from Portsmouth.

So much more to see and do

Submerse yourself in the only remaining Second World War-era submarine, HMS Alliance or visit the Victorian powerhouse - HMS Warrior 1860, as well as unique Gallipoli Campaign survivor - HMS M.33.

Be wowed, and moved, by the greatest naval battle of all time – the Battle of Jutland – through never-before-seen displays and galleries in the newest blockbuster exhibition 36 Hours: Jutland 1916, The Battle That Won the War.

And if that's not enough, get out onto the water with our harbour tour and use the water bus to get to our Gosport-based attractions before you fit in a fascinating visit to the Royal Marines Museum, nearby at Eastney.

With so much to see and do– there are plenty of reasons to return again and again throughout the year.

Check out our half term events list on the right, have a go at our competition and get into the school holiday spirit.
