Tour of Boathouse 4 at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard

Learn about the fascinating history of the Boathouse from secret World War II preparations to its present day use as site for restoration of our historic boat collection. Learn about our boats and watch our volunteers working on their conservation.

• Advanced booking has now ended. However some tours may still have availability working on a first come first served based on the day (numbers are limited). Please contact 023 9272 8060 to check availability.
• Only 10 spaces per tour, maximum of 1 child per adult, adults must supervise children at all time.
• Sensible footwear must be worn due to the tour location.
• Please report directly to the entrance of the attraction of your first tour (Visitor Centre for a Block Mills tour, the Trace the Footsteps of Nelson tour and the Tour of Boathouse 4) and ensure that you arrive as soon as you can before the start of each tour to ensure that the tour is not delayed.
