The Fisherman’s Friends on board HMS Warrior 1860 at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard

Shanty singers from Port Isaac, this much-loved local institution with their authentic sound of the sea have been together for more than 15 years. There is no gang leader, no choirmaster and no holds barred in the singing of The Fisherman’s Friends. The ten-man group mesh their voices in an incredibly rousing and joyful set of shanties and Cornish folk songs. Aboard HMS Warrior 1860 for the first time in Portsmouth, this is an event which is not to be missed!
