Family Activities on HMS Warrior

Location: HMS Warrior

Time: 10am - 5pm (everyday)

Join us on HMS Warrior for family fun-packed activities that will test your endurance and observational skills.

Explore the ship and find a whole-host of challenges that will include:

Testing your strength by weighing gunpowder bags 

Discovering how many calories you need to consume daily as sailor

Finding out how many men are required to fire a cannon

Testing your eyesight – would you make a good lookout?

 

Footie Fun Trail

Location: Explosion Museum of Naval Firepower

Time: 10am - 5pm (everyday)

Did you know that football is a big part of Royal Navy fitness?

Kick-off your May half term with our footie-mad trail crowded with fun facts and scoring challenges. Simply request your trail sheet at reception when you arrive.

 

Sailor and Pirates

Sailor and pirate characters will be roaming the historic dockyard interacting with your family and getting involved in the fit-tastic activities. Sailors and pirates are out and about from 9.45-3.30 every day through half term in these locations:

 

HMS Warrior (Jetty and Café) 

10.30- 11.30 

The Ship’s Surgeon Medical Checks 

Healthy Eating at the Mess Table. 

 

Starboard Arena 

12.45- 1.30 

Captains Coming!
